Triad Continuum is a guild unlike many others in that our beliefs, values and philosophy must be present in every member in order to maintain their standing with the guild.
Our beliefs are that our integrity and honor outweigh any other aspect in the game. We will do nothing to dishonor the Guild in any fashion. If an unfortunate happenstance occurs, we will do everything within our power to correct the issue or make it right. We believe and follow the old "Play Nice Policy" in relation to sharing camps and in resolving disputed spawns. We are honest and we are not greedy. We believe in Karma. What goes around comes around. It's not uncommon to witness a Triad, crossing several zones in order to ressurect a fallen player. Nor is it uncommon to see one giving free buffs, refusing any payment or donations.
We value Honor, Pride, Honesty, and Generosity. We value Sacrifice and above all, we value Loyalty. These characteristics must be present in all members and applicants or they will not remain within the Guild for long.
Our philosophy of "one for all and all for one" isn't just a corny catchphrase. It's our ethic. In TC we believe in the betterment of the guild over the benefit of a singular individual. Sometimes that means better equipping a specific class in order to achieve higher end goals for everyone. Sometimes it means giving a lesser equipped member a decent leg up with a huge upgrade in armor or weapons. Sometimes it means fitting in odd players into a Raid, forgoing the group experience, in order to share experience, comradarie and have an opportunity for all to enjoy.
Occasionally, we get applicants that slip into our fold but for one reason or another, don't fit well. They're stand-offish, they frequently complain, they challenge the leadership of our Officers and Guild Leader. They're only concerned with "what's in it for them". Quite frankly, these individuals don't last too long. If you agree to accept the Guild Tag, you're accepting the same beliefs, values and philosophy that are the embodiment of Traid.
We will not knowingly allow any member, by actions, deeds, speech or misprepresentation of the facts, tarnish the respect that Triad has earned. We expect each and every member to follow Everquest's Rules of Conduct. Those who wish to disregard these rules will be removed from the guild.
Our members are comprised of players with various levels of experience. It each each member's responsibility to to coach and mentor the inexperienced with patience. Furthermore, we expect every member to treat each other with dignity, respect and courtesy at all times.
